‘Batman: Arkham Knight’ delayed again, but this epic gameplay video will make up for it

I’ve got good news and bad news. The good news is that Warner Bros. and Rocksteady have released an epic 7 minute gameplay video from Batman: Arkham Knight. The bad news is you’ll have to wait a few extra weeks to get your hands on it.

The game has been pushed back again, and will now be released on June 23rd. The game was previously scheduled for a Fall 2014 release, before being delayed to June 2nd, 2015. We’ve made it this far, so waiting another three weeks for June 23rd shouldn’t be too bad.

For now, check out a brand new gameplay trailer from the first chapter of the game. As the citizens of Gotham flee and criminal gangs take control of the city, Batman uses his own special methods to discover the true purpose behind Scarecrow’s plans.

Update: I just received a statement from Rocksteady about today’s news.

Batman: Arkham Knight will now launch worldwide on June 23, 2015. We’re a developer that hates to make any compromises, so we are sorry to say this means it’s going to be just a little bit longer until you can play the epic conclusion to the Arkham trilogy. As a reward for your patience and understanding, and to make the wait even more unbearable, we are pleased to whet your appetite with a new gameplay video of Batman: Arkham Knight.

Thanks so much from everyone at Rocksteady for your continued support. We are working as hard as we can to make you proud.
