It’s no secret that Avengers: Age of Ultron director Joss Whedon is a big Batman fan. Yesterday he fanboy’d over the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer, and he’s expressed interest in directing a Batman movie in the past as well.
When MTV asked Whedon which DC Comics character he wishes could join his Avengers universe, naturally he picked The Dark Knight.
“Nobody doesn’t want Batman,” he said. “Everybody wants to play with Batman. Come on! That’s just a given. He would be the first”.
