I’m counting down the days! We have this week and next week, and then we can FINALLY get back to normal! I don’t know what normal is anymore, but it’s not Convergence, and every book won’t be forced to follow the same formula that we’ve been reading for nearly two months now.

But seriously… I can’t wait until June! And with DC releasing all of these teasers, I’m just getting more antsy. Some of the returning/ new books look amazing… and then some of the teasers reminded me why I stopped reading a book to begin with (I’m looking DIRECTLY at you Red Hood). DC continues to announce new books as well, which is exciting in itself. They just announced a Bombshell digital mini-series, and some writers have announced that they have secret projects they’re working on that will start in October… Aside from that, August solicitations should come this week, so keep an eye out for that!

This week’s releases are listed in order of what I’m most excited to read, to what I’m least excited to read. For each title, I’ll include the official solicitation, the talent credits, more of my randomness, and the Batman News team member that will be covering each book. After that, you’ll find a poll for this week’s best cover! Should you have trouble picking one cover, no worries! The poll is open so you can select as many covers as you’d like. Then, as always, you’ll find graphic novels scheduled for release this week, along  with their cover as well thanks to some requests (note: graphic novel covers will not be included in the poll for best cover). And of course, I (we) want to hear from you in the comments section! What titles are you picking up? What do you hope to see? And what are your thoughts about the order of my list? So, without further ado…

Random Blurb of Excitement: I’m starting to care less and less about this title, which is ironic because it’s at a point where I should be saying, “Oh my God!!! This is epic!!!” Unfortunately, what I’m really thinking is, “Yes, yes… Get it over with so we can get to June…”

Batman News Critic: Brandon

Random Blurb of Excitement: I don’t know much about Swamp thing. Most of my exposure to him is from Injustice Gods Among Us, so I have no idea what to expect here. I’m not even sure if I should be excited.

Random Blurb of Excitement: It’s Andreyko… I’m sure you could find more fun things to do than read this comic… Actually, I’m pretty sure you could find more fun things to do with the comic itself than actually read it. Paper planes. Origami. Something.

Random Blurb of Excitement: Poor Sean… He’s really gotten the short end of the stick with his titles. Hey, at least this book is coming to a close soon!
