Following the epic, year-long weekly story Batman Eternal, a new weekly series has been announced at Comic Con: Batman & Robin Eternal.  Few details are known at this time, but the creative team will consist of James Tynion IV serving as head writer, with Scott Snyder, Tim Seeley, Genevieve Valentine, Steve Orlando, Jackson Lanzing, Collin Kelly and Ed Brisson rounding out the writer’s stable, and Tony S. Daniel leading an art team that also includes Paul Pelletier and Scot Eaton.

Capitalizing on the 75th anniversary of the Boy Wonder, the series looks to focus on the Bat-family as a whole, based on the teaser image released, with the notable inclusion of Scarecrow and Dick Grayson standing out.  The involvement of fan favorite Cassandra Cain is also welcome news, as she has been entirely absent in the DCU since the inception of the New-52 reboot.  The series will begin shipping weekly on October 7th.
