Last month at the Licensing Expo in Las Vegas, Warner Bros. showed off a logo for Suicide Squad that stayed true to the one in the comics. This past weekend at Comic-Con, a brand new logo for the movie was revealed at the end of the Suicide Squad trailer.
The new logo bares no resemblance to the previous version, or any version really. It’s a fresh new take and I think it will work well on a movie that’s a fresh take on the superhero genre. As David Ayer stated at Comic-Con, “all this good vs. evil shit is kind of played out right now. It’s time for bad vs. evil right? It’s time for a movie about bad guys!”.
