Yesterday it was reported that Zack Snyder’s son will be playing Robin in a flashback scene in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The director wasted no time responding to the rumor, posting the photo above of he and his son Eli with the caption “Boy wonder?”. Snyder posted the photo to his private Instagram account, but thankfully Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice photographer Clay Enos reposted it on his own account so the world could see it.
Is Snyder confirming the rumor, or having fun and laughing at the internet for being totally off here? For what it’s worth Batman News heard that Robin would be played by “someone’s son”. At at the time, I was thinking it was Scott Eastwood. But then yesterday’s Heroic Hollywood report came out about Eli Snyder and I had an “ah ha!” moment.
