At Comic-Con when it was announced that Batman: The Killing Joke would be released as an animated movie in 2016, there was no doubt in my mind that Mark Hamill would be back to voice the character. I mean… who else was going to do it? Troy Baker? Sorry Troy, you’re amazing, but no. Of course Hamill would be back! The semi-retired Joker voice actor even stated back in 2011 that an adaptation of The Killing Joke would pull him out of retirement.
According to Collider, Hamill is indeed voicing the Joker in Batman: The Killing Joke. In fact, he’s already recorded all of his dialogue! Now all we need is confirmation that Kevin Conroy is playing Batman. With the movie scheduled to be released sometime next year, hopefully we learn more official details from Warner Bros. sooner rather than later.
