Something you may not know about Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star Henry Cavill is that he’s a big animal lover. In 2014, he partnered with Durrell Wildlife Park to make a difference, and help some of the most at risk animals on the planet.
While visiting Durrell recently, Cavill came across a baby Livingstone’s fruit bat, which is a species that’s endangered and on the verge of extinction. Cavill adopted the bat and named him Ben, presumably after his Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice co-star Ben Affleck.
Now it’s your turn to help! Beginning today, you can follow Henry in adopting young Ben. By doing so, you’ll be joining Henry and Durrell in working to secure the survival of his species, by ensuring the future long term viability of the captive population, and in the wild, where they work with local partners and communities to protect their forest habitat.
