The new Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer will be attached to the IMAX 3D showings of Warner Bros.’s new movie In the Heart of the Sea this weekend. Director Zack Snyder just made the announcement on Twitter.
That means that there will be some real, native IMAX footage in that version of the trailer, since the movie was partially shot in IMAX.
Batman News reader Vahn saw the IMAX trailer with In the Heart of the Sea and revealed which scenes were shot in IMAX. They include the first fight in the rain, the nightmare sequence, and Wonder Woman’s appearance at the end.
Back in April at the IMAX trailer event, they showed a version of the trailer that included native IMAX scenes, and fans will get to see more scenes that were shot natively in IMAX with In the Heart of the Sea this weekend.
