DC Comics “has plans” for Teen Titans show that TNT rejected

Last month TNT president Kevin Reilly revealed that his network passed on the Teen Titans show, Titans, that DC Comics was working on. Reilly cited a poor script as the main reason why TNT wasn’t interested.

TVLine caught up with DC’s Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns just a few days after TNT announced the news. But it wasn’t a surprise to him or DC.

“We [at DC] have known about [TNT nixing Titans] for months and months and months. That’s not new news to us. We have plans for Titans,” Johns asserted. “It’s a huge piece of DC and we have plans.”

What those plans are remain to be seen, but hopefully step one is beefing up that script.
