Rumors have been swirling around Jena Malone every since the news that she had been cast in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Her newly dyed red hair brought on Robin rumors, and she was even rumored to be playing Barbara Gordon. Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait a bit longer to know for sure because Malone’s scenes have been cut from the theatrical release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Entertainment Weekly reports.
But there’s good news! Fans will be able to see Malone’s scenes in the R-rated “Ultimate Edition” Blu-ray of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice when it’s released this summer. EW will have much more on the R-rated cut tomorrow, but for now, they say that it features even more brutal fight scenes as well as additional hints at future films.
