DC All Access caught up with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice production designer Patrick Tatopoulos to learn how Ben Affleck’s Batmobile was created.
Once Tatopoulos sketched out the design for the new Batmobile on paper, it took about five months for them to build two fully working cars. The hardest part was finding tires big enough for the car he created. They ended up getting them from farming trucks in Israel, and then modified them to fit the Batmobile.
