This week DC All Access caught up with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice prop master Douglas Harlocker to show off Batman’s cool new gadgets from the movie!
First up is Batman’s most popular gadget, the Batarang. Director Zack Snyder wanted this version to be extra sharp and more lethal than ever. Snyder even requested a cool twist for Batman’s grappling gun. He wanted the handle to be shaped like a hammer, so that Batman could use it as a weapon when he’s in hand-to-hand combat. We also see the device that Batman wears under his cowl, to help change his voice.
