June 2016 Solicitations
The Rebirth news continues to flow as DC releases their solicitations for June 2016! Most of the titles for June are carry over from the New 52 DCYOU, but there are a few glimpses into what’s to come as the first Rebirth titles start hitting shelves. If you missed our previous posts pertaining to Rebirth, check out our posts Full DC Comics Rebirth Creative Teams & Details and DC Comics Officially Reveals Rebirth Details (announces the rollout schedule for Rebirth titles).
At the moment, there aren’t any details pertaining to a themed variant cover for the month of June. Once the themed variant is announced, we will share.
Alright, if you’re still with me, below you’ll find the solicitations for each issue, as well as the cover art (if DC has released it). As a reminder, I’m not putting the talent credits in this post because there’s already a ton of information here. Make sure you give me a piece of your mind in the comments! I want to hear what you’re excited about, worried about, your predictions, etc… If you have something to say, I want to know!
May 25th
DC Universe: Rebirth #1
It all begins here. Do not skip to the last page. Do not let a friend or message board ruin this comic for you. The future (and past) of the DC Universe starts here. Don’t say we didn’t warn you!
“Rebirth is about focusing in on the core of the character and their respective universe,” says writer and DC Entertainment Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns. “It brings back what has been lost: the legacy of the characters, the love and the hope of the DCU!”
I know this technically falls in May, but DC just officially released the solicitation, so I’m including it with this post.
