Agent: Ben Affleck has written a “really cool” Batman script

Warner Bros.

Ben Affleck is a client of WME, a talent agency in Hollywood run by co-CEOs Ari Emanuel and Patrick Whitesell. In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Whitesell spoke about his client, and revealed some details about his DCEU contract and his much rumored solo Batman movie.

“He’s contracted to do at least Justice League One and Two, so at least three times wearing the cape,” he says, adding, “there’s a script that he’s written that is a really cool [Batman] idea, so that’s out there as an option.”

It’s actually at least four, since the first Suicide Squad trailer revealed a Ben Affleck Batman cameo, but we appreciate the inside look, Patrick!

Last week Affleck confirmed the rumors that he and DC Comics CCO Geoff Johns are writing a Batman movie script together, telling DC All Access “he and I are working together on something and I really am excited about it, and I love him, he’s the best.”

Now all we need is for Warner Bros. to approve the script (you know they will) and announce a release date!
