Concept artist Vance Kovacs has released some of the work he did for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. We get a look at some alternate Doomsday designs, the Batman/Superman fight, and the big Doomsday fight at the end of the movie. Check them out in the gallery below. Obviously there will be some spoilers if you haven’t seen the movie yet!
In regards to the very last image that shows the death of Superman, Kovacs wrote “Unfinished. A crop of a much larger composition. I was reluctant to share this one for many reasons. . It didn’t turn out the way I had hoped. I may return to it some day… In homage to Rembrandt’s “The Descent From The Cross””.
