The Suicide Squad reshoot rumors have been debunked yet again, this time by director David Ayer. Last week star Jai Courtney said the reshoots were to add more action, and Ayer said the same thing early this morning on Twitter.
#SuicideSquad “reshoots for humor” is silly. When a studio loves your movie and asks what else you want, go for it! #ThanksWB #moreaction

The original reshoot report said that Warner Bros. was spending millions of dollars to add more humor and lightness to the movie. Between the trailer that came out in January, and the new trailer that came out last night, there’s plenty of humor and “fun” already. As David Ayer said in his tweet, Warner Bros. loves Suicide Squad and asked what else he wanted. Ayer wanted to add more action, so that’s what he’s going to do!
