Over the weekend a report came out that said director Zack Snyder and Warner Bros. were fighting over Justice League. On the latest Batman-On-Film podcast, founder Bill “Jett” Ramey confirmed that he heard the same thing from his own sources:

“Birth.Movies.Death is reporting that there’s a lot of tension between the executives at Warner Bros. and director Zack Snyder, who is currently filming Justice League in the UK. I can confirm that I’ve been hearing that as well.”

This is certainly a story worth following now that a second, more respected source in the Batman community, has come forward and said they heard the same thing.

Let’s look at the facts: Zack Snyder has made two DC movies — Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Both underperformed at the box office, were disliked by most critics, and got mixed reactions from audiences. Now Warner Bros. is giving him another $250+ million to make a third movie. It’s not hard to see why Warner Bros. might be taking a more hands-on approach, which could certainly cause some tension between both sides.

Batman News covers all aspects of the DCEU, both good and bad, so I’ll definitely keep you posted on any other developments on this story. And in case you didn’t know, I liked Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice! Check out my review on the Batman News podcast.
