Justice League: Part One is getting a new executive producer, and his name is Ben Affleck! Deadline reports that Affleck will work directly with director Zack Snyder and screenwriter Chris Terrio behind the scenes to make the film the best it can be.
The Hollywood Reporter adds more info and says that Affleck will help strengthen the script, and also have an influence on the movie during the post-production process after they’re done shooting.
This news comes after reports that Warner Bros. and Zack Snyder were fighting over the movie. It sounds like Warner Bros. is bringing in Affleck to smooth things over a bit. Hopefully Snyder is seeing this as a positive, because after all, Affleck is an Oscar-winning filmmaker!
Deadline says that Affleck decided to take on the producer job to support Zack Snyder, someone he obviously respects after making Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice with him.
