Last night at E3 after announcing Batman: Arkham VR, Rocksteady co-founder and game director Sefton Hill spoke to Geoff Keighley and revealed the first details about the game.
Hill said that Rocksteady was ready to move on from Batman after Batman: Arkham Knight, but when the opportunity came along to make a VR game they couldn’t refuse.
Players will be able to use Batman’s gadgets like the Batarang, grappling hook, and forensic scanner. The story focuses on a crime scene, and you have to piece together what happened. Hill said it’ll take about an hour to complete, but there’s about another hour worth of content to explore from within the VR experience.
Kevin Conroy will be back to voice Batman, and Mark Hamill is the Joker. Watch the full Sefton Hill interview above for more, and the teaser trailer below if you missed it last night.
