The Flash director Rick Famuyiwa is looking to reunite with an actress he worked with on his critically acclaimed movie, Dope.
According to Variety, Kiersey Clemons is Famuyiwa’s top pick to play Iris West, the tough-as-nails journalist and friend of Barry Allen, the alter ego of the Flash.
Clemons got her big break working with Famuyiwa on Dope, and recently appeared in Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising as well.
The Hollywood Reporter’s Borys Kit says that singer Rita Ora and Lucy Boynton are also being considered for the role.
