Fresh off the excellent crossover with everyone’s half-shell heroes, Batman is once again teaming up with the Ninja Turtles. This time, though, it’s the animated Batman from the DC Animated Universe joining forces with the animated counterparts of the Turtles.
Plot details for the appropriately titled Batman/TMNT Adventures are scarce at this time, with Nerdist reporting that it will see several of Batman’s foes escaping from Arkham Asylum and making their way to the Turtles’ New York City, but we’ll update as we learn more. Given the pedigree of the two properties, this should no doubt be an all-ages title that is appealing to fans young and old, so expect a good time no matter what the plot involves.
The six issue series, written by Matthew K. Manning of the underrated Beware the Batman comic and illustrated by TMNT Amazing Adventures’ own Jon Sommariva, is scheduled to debut November 9th.
