Ex Warner Bros. employee says ‘Wonder Woman’ is a mess, director Patty Jenkins responds

Last night a self-proclaimed ex Warner Bros. employee published an open letter to CEO Kevin Tsujihara. The author hid behind the name “Gracie Law”, a character from the movie Big Trouble in Little China, but the article has been getting a lot of media attention.

Gracie Law was disappointed with how Suicide Squad turned out, and took aim at Tsujihara without holding anything back. Law was upset with the way the CEO handled layoffs that took place in the company in 2014, and how he’s running the business overall.

You just don’t get it. And it’s not just DC movies, it’s your whole slate. Jupiter Ascending. Get Hard. Hot Pursuit. Max. Vacation. Pan. Point Break. Fucking PAN, you jerk. People lost their jobs and you decided Pan was a good idea. You think another Jungle Book is a good idea.

A big reason why the open letter is getting a lot of attention is because the former Warner Bros. employee said that Wonder Woman is a mess.

What are you even doing? I wish to God you were forced to live out of a car until you made a #1 movie of the year. Maybe Wonder Woman wouldn’t be such a mess. Don’t try to hide behind the great trailer. People inside are already confirming it’s another mess. It is almost impressive how you keep rewarding the same producers and executives for making the same mistakes, over and over.

This caught the attention of Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins, who sent out a series of tweets tonight disputing the above claim.
