‘Aquaman’ screenwriter says the most fun action takes place on land

/Film caught up with Aquaman screenwriter Will Beall at an event last week, and asked a few questions about Jason Momoa’s upcoming superhero movie.

Beall couldn’t comment on the report that says Black Manta is the villain, but did reveal some cool info about the movie’s setting.

“I can tell you that not all of the action takes place underwater,” Beall said. “Some of the most fun action in the movie actually takes place on dry land.”

Beall also revealed that the script isn’t done yet. He said he’s still working on it with Geoff Johns and director James Wan.

He has plenty of time. Aquaman isn’t scheduled to hit theaters until July 27, 2018, so it probably won’t start shooting until the spring or summer of next year.
