‘Justice League’ to shoot in a small village in Iceland

Zack Snyder and the Justice League cast have been filming in Warner Bros. Leavesden Studios in England since April, but they’re about to go out into the world on location!

Visit Westfjords, the official website of an Iceland travel guide, says that Justice League will be filming in the Westfjords of Iceland in October or November. The Djúpavík village will be the primary location in Iceland, and is pictured above.

A crew of about 200 will be on set, and some well-known Icelandic actors will have minor roles in the movie, including Ingvar E. Sigurðsson, Kristbjörg Kjeld, Ágústa Eva Erlendsdóttir and Salóme Gunnarsdóttir.

Visit Westfjords mentions Jared Leto’s name as part of the cast of Justice League, but they are probably just going off of online rumors, and not their own sources for that part of their article. Jared Leto was in London, home of the Justice League set, at the end of June.
