Rick Famuyiwa has written every movie he’s directed, and it seems like The Flash won’t be any different. Famuyiwa joined the project after the original director and script writer, Seth Grahame-Smith, parted ways with Warner Bros.
Famuyiwa isn’t re-writing the entire script but he’s putting his own stamp on The Flash, as evident from a tweet that the director sent out this afternoon. Famuyiwa posted an image of the script which read “current revisions by Rick Famuyiwa”.

Production on The Flash is expected to start this year. It’s currently scheduled for a March 16, 2018 release date.
