It’s hard to believe, but Justice League filming is in the home stretch now! It started in April at the Warner Bros. Leavesden studios in southeast England, and now it’s come to an end. Aquaman himself, Jason Momoa, announced on Instagram earlier that the Justice League wrap party is tonight.
“There’s to many people to thank for all their hard work. Tonight is our wrap party. I am so thankful for my cast and crew. I love you,” he wrote.
Unfortunately Momoa will not be able to attend, as he prepares for “the north”. I think what Momoa is alluding to is the fact that Justice League still has a bit more filming to do. Scenes are scheduled to be filmed in Iceland, north of London where they are now.
However, the majority of Justice League was shot at the Warner Bros. Leavesden studios near London, so that’s what the big celebration tonight is for. Most of the cast and crew won’t be heading over to Iceland, so tonight’s party is for all of the hard work they’ve been doing since April.
Knowing Zack Snyder, we’ll probably get a tweet with a new photo when Justice League is completely wrapped. But for now, the bulk of it is done and the cast and crew are out celebrating as we speak!
Justice League will hit theaters on November 17, 2017.
