Batman ’66 to meet Wonder Woman this January

Holy monumental meet-up, Batman!

Details are scarce at this time, but DC is reporting that the Caped Crusader and Amazing Amazon will team-up in an upcoming miniseries.

Following the previous partnerships with the Green Hornet, the men from U.N.C.L.E., and Steed and PeelBatman ’66 Meets Wonder Woman will feature the first time the Dynamic Duo team up with another DC Comics hero.

Nothing beyond a January release date is known at this time, but we’ll update as we learn more.  In the meantime, enjoy these two preview pages.

Update: Variety has quite a few details regarding the series.  Jeff Parker and Marc Andreyko, seasoned writers of Batman ’66 and Wonder Woman ’77, respectively, will be co-writing the protect together.  Series mainstay Michael Allred will provide covers, while Karl Kesel and David Hahn will be on penciling duties.

The digital-first series will begin on November 23 and run for twelve chapters, with the first physical issue shipping in January.
