DC’s “Young Animals” imprint, spearheaded by My Chemical Romance’s Gerard Way, is an initiative to look at some of the… stranger parts of the DC Universe. While the other titles in the line have resurrected and reimagined existing concepts (Doom Patrol, Shade the Changing Girl, and front-runner for coolest name Cave Carson Has a Cybernetic Eye), the forthcoming Mother Panic is doing something a little different. The title character is a new creation, but she resides in one of the most familiar locales of all: Gotham City.
Enjoy this early look at the upcoming series, including variant covers from the likes of Paul Pope and Tommy Lee Edwards. The first issue will drop on November 9.
