DC Comics and Warner Bros. have been celebrating Wonder Woman’s 75th anniversary all year, and she’s about to be honored in the biggest way yet!
On Friday, October 21st the U.N. will name Wonder Woman an honorary ambassador for the empowerment of women and girls at an event at their headquarters in New York City.
Gal Gadot and Lynda Carter are both scheduled to attend, and this will be the first time the two Wonder Woman actresses meet in person. U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, DC Entertainment President Diane Nelson and other special guests are also scheduled to be there.
Lynda Carter revealed in an interview this week that she was approched by Wonder Woman diretor Patty Jenkins about a cameo, but unfortunately scheduling conflicts forced her to have to decline.
