Entertainment Tonight caught up with Joe Manganiello at Mohegan Sun’s 20th anniversary party this past weekend. Manganiello, who stars as the villain Deathstroke in The Batman, revealed when the movie starts shooting… and it’s sooner than we thought!
ET asked Manganiello how he was doing, and he replied “Great, man, just getting ready to go shoot Batman in the spring.”
While promoting The Accountant, Ben Affleck implied that The Batman was further off than most fans were expecting, but Manganiello just spilled the beans!
Spring could mean The Batman starts shooting in March, April, or May of next year. And with that kind of start date, I think that empty Fall 2018 release date is extremely likely. Currently there’s an untitled DC Comics movie dated for October 5, 2018.
