Hackers take over the official ‘Justice League’ Instagram account (update)

Update: It looks like Warner Bros. has regained control of the Justice League Instagram account, and the deleted posts have been restored.

Unless this is part of a big marketing campaign, it appears that the official Justice League Instagram account was compromised by hackers this afternoon. Warner Bros. confirmed to Batman News that they are working on it.

The account, which is verified and linked to on the official Justice League website, has been completely revamped. All of the existing Justice League promotional posts have been deleted, and just one remains of two figures dressed in black.

In their new profile picture, the two people are wearing clothes by MSFTSrep, a clothing company started by Will Smith’s son Jaden.

Hopefully Instagram can help Warner Bros. get this issue sorted out quickly. Do we blame Lex Luthor for this?
