The extended cut of Suicide Squad is finally available on Digital HD! If you’re like me, you probably stayed up late and just finished watching it. In my opinion, the longer version of the movie isn’t a game changer in the way that Batman v Superman’s extended cut was.
There are some cool new scenes, but it’s not noticeably better than the theatrical cut. Perhaps most disappointing is that there are only about 2 extra minutes of Jared Leto Joker footage. There’s extra content when he electroshocks Harley, and then there’s a bonus flashback scene between the two. That’s it.
