The critics may not have liked Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad as a whole, but they enjoyed Gal Gadot and Margot Robbie’s performances enough to nominate them for “Best Actress in an Action Movie”.
It’s DC Comics vs. Marvel in this category, with each side having an equal chance of winning. Here are the nominees:

- Scarlett Johansson (“Captain America: Civil War”)
- Margot Robbie (“Suicide Squad”)
- Tilda Swinton (“Doctor Strange”)
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star Amy Adams didn’t make that list, but she was nominated separately in the “Best Actress” category for her performance in Arrival.
The 22nd annual Critics’ Choice Awards will air on December 11th on A&E at 8pm ET.
