Warner Bros. has pushed the release of Aquaman back a few months. The movie will now open on October 5, 2018. It was originally scheduled to be released on July 27, 2018.
One has to wonder if they are swapping dates with Ben Affleck’s Batman movie, The Batman. A Batman movie definitely makes more sense to have that “summer blockbuster” spot in July. And with The Batman beginning production in the spring of next year, it should have time to make a Summer 2018 release date if needed.
Here’s an update release schedule for the entire DC Films slate. My guess is everything after Justice League is subject to be changed, much like Aquaman just was.
