Detective Comics has been, without question, one of the most successful books post-Rebirth and one of the best Batman books in recent memory.  The ensemble approach has been terrific with each member getting moments to shine, but the breakout star is no doubt Batwoman.  Cool, confident, and authoritative, Kate Kane has proven herself to be a fantastic team leader and equal to Batman.

After years of ups and downs with her own self-titled series, Batwoman will get her own title once again starting in 2017.  Starting in the pages of Detective Comics, superstar writers James Tynion IV and Marguerite Bennett will pave the way for Kate’s upcoming solo series, tying in the events of “Night of the Monster Men” with Kate’s relationship with her father.
