On Monday night, Ben Affleck made it seem like it would be a while before he made his Batman movie, but last night at a Variety event, he confirmed that the movie is on track to start shooting in the spring… just like his co-star Joe Manganiello revealed months ago.
“Affleck indicated that he expected the film will begin shooting in the spring,” Variety’s report reads.
“We’re on the right track with that and everything is coming together,” Affleck said. “We’re still finishing up a script. I’m very excited.”
With The Batman shooting in the spring, expect a 2018 release date. And with Aquaman just moved back to October, that July 27, 2018 is free for the taking!
