This is kind of unbelievable. Google has released their annual Year in Search report for 2016, and Suicide Squad was the 10th most searched term in the entire world this year!
Google also has the Top 10 searches in 2016 by categories, and in “Movies” Suicide Squad was the #2 most searched term, coming up just short of #1 to Deadpool. Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice also made an appearance at #5.
This just goes to show how much Suicide Squad really resonated with the general audience. Being included in the Top 10 Google searches in 2016, across the entire globe, is absolutely incredible!
