Don’t expect Ben Affleck to direct The Batman in the Batsuit.
During a recent interview with USA Today, Affleck was asked if it’s going to be difficult directing the movie in the costume. Having done two movies now in various Batsuits, Affleck acknowledged that the suit will have to be modified to make it easier to put on and take off.
“I’ve played the part, so I know what’s it’s like to be in the suit,” Affleck said. “I think I’d have to modify the suit to make it a little bit easier to put on and take off if I was really going to be directing the movie as well. When you are just in it, you can be sweating, crazy and exhausted, just do your part and walk away. But when you’re a director, you can’t walk away. You have to answer all the questions and be there for everybody.
“Chief among the challenges of doing Batman, will be finding a suit that’s more comfortable,” he added.
