The movie was titled Batman v Superman, but my favorite fight scene by far was Batman taking on the thugs that were holding Martha Kent hostage in the warehouse. To me, it’s the greatest Batman fight scene that’s ever been filmed.
Heroic Hollywood recently caught up with two of the people responsible for that epic scene — assistant director Damon Caro and visual effects supervisor Bryan Hirota. They also shared some brand new behind-the-scenes photos, which you can see in the gallery below.
Caro explained that the warehouse fight scene was the first thing they ended up shooting due to the complexity of it. And here’s an interesting fact… Batman’s cape was entirely CGI in that scene, except for the very end. And Batman was all real too, except for the first shot when he blasts up through the bottom of the floor. That was a CGI character.
