TheWrap is reporting that David F. Sandberg is in talks to direct Shazam for New Line, the sister studio to Warner Bros.
Sandberg is a Swedish filmmaker found success with his 2016 debut Lights Out. He will release a horror film, Annabelle 2, for New Line later this summer.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has been attached to star in Shazam as Black Adam for years now. We recently learned that Johnson will be getting his own Black Adam movie as well.
