When Ben Affleck stepped down from directing The Batman, he said he would look for a partner to take over that job to collaborate with. Today, he found that partner in Matt Reeves.
Just a few hours after Reeves was officially announced as the new director of The Batman, Affleck took to Twitter to welcome him to the Batcave.

The Batman doesn’t have a release date at this time, but it has two important things. Ben Affleck and director Matt Reeves. Together they’ll develop not only the Batman movie we need, but the Batman movie we deserve. Stay tuned to Batman News for more!
