Suicide Squad is officially an Oscar-winning movie! David Ayer’s movie about bad guys just took home the Oscar for Best Makeup and Hairstyling.
Alessandro Bertolazzi, Giorgio Gregorini and Christopher Nelson won the award for their styling work on all of the great characters they helped create. Killer Croc was the most impressive, but Harley Quinn, The Joker, El Diablo, and Enchantress all had amazing makeup too. From head to toe!
This is the first Oscar win for a DC Comics movie since The Dark Knight at the 2009 Academy Awards, which won Best Supporting Actor (Heath Ledger) and Best Sound Editing (Richard King).
