Director James Wan is best known for directing horror movies, and according to a new report he’s going to be bringing some creepiness to Aquaman as well.
Superhero News has heard that Aquaman will include creatures that are half man, half fish. They’ll have arms, legs, fins, big heads, big eyes, and long sharp teeth. This sounds very much like The Trench, evil creatures that were introduced in the New 52 version of “Aquaman” by Geoff Johns.
Best of all, these won’t be CGI creatures. Wan is creating practical monsters, and to make them seem larger than life the actors will be on stilts. For more Aquaman details, check out the first 9 minutes of The Superhero News Show below.
