NBC and Red Nose Day, a charity that uses entertainment to raise awareness and money to help kids in need around the world, are teaming up once again for a celebrity-filled primetime fundraiser. The special will air on NBC on May 25th and Ben Affleck (and Batman) will be a part of it this year!
“I’m doing my Batman voice,” Affleck told People in a recent interview. “No cowl — just the stripped-down, unplugged version.” It’ll be interesting to hear what Ben Affleck’s Batman voice sounds like without all the extra special effects that were used on his voice in Batman v Superman, Suicide Squad, and Justice League.
Affleck also spoke about how much fun he’s having playing Batman. “It’s a lot of fun,” says Affleck. “Batman is such a serious, heavy character, there is the temptation to be funny about it, or at least self-aware. I really enjoy it. Obviously it is a character that means a lot to a lot of people and I’m having fun playing it.”
Last year Suicide Squad star Margot Robbie took a bubble bath in honor of the Red Nose Day special. You can watch a clip of her appearance below.
