DC and Marvel have united to honor director Richard Donner and 1978’s Superman: The Movie.
DC Films president Geoff Johns and Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige were on stage together at last night’s “A Tribute to Richard Donner” event. Both Johns and Feige got their start in Hollywood by working for Donner’s production company.
Johns called Superman: The Movie the greatest superhero film of all time, and Feige agreed, saying he and his Marvel partners watch the Superman movie before making most of their own movies.
It’s great to see DC and Marvel coming together like this. Check out Johns and Feige tell some cool stories about working with Donner and what Superman: The Movie means to them in the video above.
