Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins was a guest on Conan last night, and at the end of the interview Conan O’Brien asked what everyone wants to know… will she be back to direct a Wonder Woman sequel?
“We’re working on it. I hope to. I love it. I love the world. We’re all really excited about it. We’ll see,” Jenkins told O’Brien.
Jenkins is referring to her contract negotiations, which we learned about earlier this week. Warner Bros. didn’t sign up Jenkins for multiple movies, a standard practice, but one that will likely cost them millions of dollars. After the huge success that Wonder Woman turned out to be, Jenkins now has all the power while working on a new deal.
