Michael Keaton wants to talk about Batman during this ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ interview

Michael Keaton was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live this week to promote his new movie Spider-Man: Homecoming. Kimmel started off the interview by telling Keaton that Spider-Man was his favorite comic book character, and then hilarity ensued!

Keaton got red in the face and started to pretend to choke Kimmel! “I’m sorry, I forgot you’re his nemesis,” Kimmel said, referring to Keaton playing the villain in Spider-Man: Homecoming. But that’s not what upset Keaton. “No, I’m Batman! What the f*ck are you talking about?,” he shouted back.

When Kimmel tried to get the interview back on track and on the topic of Spider-Man, Keaton responded with “let’s talk about Batman”. Check out the funny exchange in the video above.

This is just another example of Michael Keaton being awesome and not wanting to let go of the character which he got to play back in 1989 (and again in 1992). Spider-Man: Homecoming star Tom Holland revealed in an interview earlier this year that Keaton would say things like “I’m Batman” on set during their fight scenes.
