Last month it was reported that Lost co-creator and writer Damon Lindelof was in talks with HBO to develop a Watchmen TV series. In an interview with TVLine last week at Comic-Con, Lindelof said that he was on vacation when the news broke and came home to hundreds of emails about it.
Unfortunately for fans, those reports may have been a bit premature. Lindelof said that he hasn’t had any meetings with HBO about Watchmen, but that he loves the comic book series and thinks the material is very interesting. Right now, Lindelof is thinking about if a Watchmen TV series should even exist. Because he loves the material so much, he wouldn’t want to screw it up.
