This week on Instagram concept artist Jerad S.Marantz shared some of the early work he did for Batman v Superman costume designer Michael Wilkinson, and it shows a very different looking Batsuit.
The early Batsuit design is very high-tech and sleek looking, almost like something you’d expect to see Christian Bale wearing in one of the Christopher Nolan Batman movies. The next designs are closer to what we ended up getting, but still have a Batman Begins feel to me. Check out the early Batman v Superman concept art in the gallery below.
In the end, Michael Wilkinson went with a simpler version of the Batsuit for Batman v Superman which looks like it was taken straight out of the comic books. What do you think of these early designs? Let me know in the comments below.
